Year 3 had an exciting launch to their “Food and Our Bodies” science topic when they had a visit from Warburtons. During the session, the class explored:
- Healthy eating – the Eat Well Guide and its key healthy eating messages;
- Getting ready to cook – hygiene and safety;
- Took part in a hands-on food activity to teach basic food skills by making a healthy sandwich;
- Discussed how to reduce food waste.
