Year 4


The children in Year 4 looked super smart for their Christmas party! They had an amazing time playing games, dancing and eating lots of delicious food. On behalf of all of us in Year 4 have a very merry Christmas!


Year 3 & 4 thoroughly enjoyed their Christmas performance of The Landlord’s Cat.  After many rehearsals and sing-a-longs, it was lovely to see such a big audience support their stars up on the stage this afternoon. What a talented bunch!  


Year 4 loved their Christmas lunch today. They sang songs, pulled crackers and all sat together to join in with the festivities. They have also been making cards and calendars to bring home! With one week left to go I hope you are all looking forward to joining us on the 16/12/19 for our Christmas p


Year 4 have been working so hard on their writing this half term. We have been basing it on  our Power of Reading book ‘The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane’ The children have created a setting description based on the landfill in the book. They have been using expanded noun phrases with modifyi


Year 4 have been having an amazing time during their PE sessions with the Newcastle Eagles. They have been learning to shoot, dribble and pass. We are so proud of their hard work, perseverance and determination.  


Spellings believe, actually, centre, certain, disappear, favourite and minute. Homework The children should complete workouts 3-4 in their English homework books. I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday for Parents Evening!


Years 3 and 4 had lots of fun learning all about the Romans with That History Bloke last Tuesday, and are looking forward to learning a lot more during the Spring term.
